I decided December 31st, 2017, that my New Years resolution would be to cut out meat. I had tried going vegetarian several times in the past for several reasons; including health and my love for animals. But I went back to the regular American diet after a couple months of being vegetarian each time. Itβs difficult to do any type of diet when living with other indivuals who surround you with all the comfort foods you enjoyed eating at one point, especially in the beginning. But after moving out and living in my own space, being vegetarian wasnβt so difficult anymore. After living the meat free life for 6 months, and being enticed by a couple of vegan friends, I finally decided that I could handle cutting out dairy and eggs. After being vegan for only a couple months I noticed the difference in my energy levels insanely! I realized that I was eating way healthier than I ever had, not to mention cheaper. Now, with this blog, I hope to show everyone else how simple it can be to fall into the routine of living a healthy and harmonic life! π±
